Preamble
We the members of the nonprofit community do solemnly pledge to do our best to uphold the rights and responsibilities of being a good charitable organization.  We promise to do our duty and gain the knowledge and understanding of Charitable Laws to serve our clients. 

As board members we will set policy and assume fiduciary responsibility, raise funds, and place reasonable expectations on qualified, compensated staff, when we are able to hire them. 

As staff, we will keep ourselves and our board members current on best practices and trends, execute said policy and perform the administrative duties to the extent of our physical capability. 

As stakeholders, whether individuals or corporate, we will support the mission of the organization through participation to the extent permitted.

We will do our utmost to uphold our duties, to be transparent in our actions and to hold the respect of the public by remaining true to our mission and accountable to fellow citizens in these United States for whom we have been entrusted.

We perform all of these actions, with those benefiting from our mission in mind and recognize that we are neither bigger than the cause nor above reproach by the law.

** The term charitable refers to any organization eligible to receive a tax deductible deducation.
